Join the Chorus

The Valley Choral Society welcomes all singers interested in improving their vocal talents and supporting the society's goals. Singers are expected to attend rehearsals, workshops, and spend time learning the music; which can be satisfied by studying with other members of the chorus or independently.

Membership Fees
The Valley Choral Society is a self-supporting organization. There is a membership fee and music rental fee. The membership fee is $30 each season (fall/spring) or $50 for both, if paid in September at the first rehearsal. The household cap for the membership fee is $60 (2 membership fees) per season or $100 per year if paid in September of each year.

The music rental fee will not exceed $20 per season, and is based on the cost of the music used. There is no household cap for the music rental fee nor is there a discount for paying both fall and spring music rental fees in September. You will also need to purchase your own copy of the major work being used for the fall or spring season. That major work may be ordered through Robin Kraus at (916) 989-5748 or email choir+valleychoral.org.

Join the Orchestra

The Valley Choral Society seats an orchestra of volunteers to perform each season. Most orchestra members provide their own instruments; however, if you have talent but no instrument, it may be possible for arrangements to be made. Orchestra members are not expected to pay membership or music rental fees. Please contact Mary Bair at (916) 988-9226 or email orch+valleychoral.org.
