Spring 2008: Brahms "German Requiem"

May 3rd, 2008 at 7pm the Valley Choral Society joins the Sacramento Youth Symphony which is under the baton of Michael Neumann, Music Director, to present Brahms "German Requiem" in German. This will be the third time the Society performs the Requiem. First in the Spring of 2001 at St. Ignatius Catholic church, then in 2006 with the Sacramento Camellia Symphony in the Memorial Auditorium.

The Valley Choral Society and the Sacramento Youth Symphony will be joined by the Fair Oaks Presbyterian, Fremont Presbyterian and Roseville Presbyterian Church Choirs. Soloists include: Cherie Shoemaker, soprano, and Joseph Wiggett, baritone.
